View close-up of designGo back A strong graphic to reflect the strength of the orca (killer whale) – orcas are agile, gentle and swift! They frolic in the ocean like dolphins, but are much larger and some would say quicker. The inner markings of these orcas are reminiscent of northwest native Eskimo art - which is another influence of mine. The patterns also suggest another art form called scrimshaw – etching onto ivory tusks and bone, also an Eskimo art form.
