View close-up of designGo back This particular design was the most difficult one for me to create because of its intricate markings and its mathematical layout. I am infamous for my really bad math, but I’m told that this design required a ton of it! The colors are earth tones and the interlocking tails took weeks to execute. Two of the chameleons do actually exist, but a third one I made up. The patterns on all three are the actual stylized patterns found on all reptiles. This design, with its ease of flow and balance has won two awards in the surface design category at the southwest arts festival and the Indian Wells Art Festival.
